LEARNING CAN BE FUN !!!




This is a lesson for a 9-12 grade group of students

Objective:
For the students to be able to integrate their work through digital media and to learn the proper CPR procedures.

Task:
The students will be divided into two groups. One group will be about how to perform CPR and the other about finding a pulse. They will film a real scene of a person choking and perform the necessary task for their assigned procedure.


Process:
Before any filming is done a outline (storyboard) must be presented to me for approval
Websites will be assigned to the students to learn more about their topic
Both groups need to pick a director, Cameraman, actors, a editor, and a sound person
The students will be given a dummy to perform CPR, the group finding the pulse do not need a dummy.
The students are expected to create a scene that involves someone eventually choking (CPR) or fainting (pulse).
The step by step procedure must be shown in the video of how to perform CPR or checking a pulse.




















Evaluation:
The students will be graded on their participation, knowledge of the procedure being shown, and creativity.
